You may have heard of the brain computer interface where technology is being used to work with the brain to help in multiple ways, especially in those areas where injury or disease have robbed us of function.
But what about using our brain to help computers work better? Neuro-computing is about developing algorithms that would run on computers that function more like a brain than a conventional computer using attributes such as resiliency.
This is the project being investigated by Sandia National Laboratories in the States. You can read all about their here.
